With heartfelt respect and remembrance, we celebrate the legacy of Joseph Chapman, a cherished member of the KEEN NY Board of Directors.

Joe, as he was known to the KEEN team, joined the Board in February 2016, and served our organization faithfully and passionately until his passing on May 24, 2023. Whether he was taking notes as the Board Secretary, rallying the crowd at KEEN fundraisers, or shooting hoops with KEEN Athletes, Joe did all things with great vigor and zest. His smile and always fashionable suits lit up every room he entered. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a brilliant businessman. He is deeply missed by our community, but we will honor his legacy by carrying on his work with joy and enthusiasm for making our world a more equitable space for youth with disabilities and community volunteer leaders.
